Census of ACT export businesses is underway

The ACT government has recently commissioned a study to identify the needs of local businesses that are currently exporting or hope to export in the future.

The aims of the study are to identify the breadth and depth of local export activity and to inform future government initiatives to assist ACT exporters. Ultimately it is hoped to establish a database that may be used to link potential local companies with overseas buyers. All exporters large and small are encouraged to offer input into this study – from small, home-based businesses to large scale service businesses.

As part of the methodology McKINNA et al Pty Ltd, a consultancy specialising in export market development, will conduct a brief online survey. The survey will be posted online in late April.

If you would like to have your views represented and participate in the survey, please email strategicinsights@mckinna.com.au and you will be sent a link. The survey itself is anonymous and all participants will go into the draw to win export related prizes.

Please feel free to contact Rebecca Brown at McKINNA et al if you require any further information about this study Tel: (03) 9696 1966.
