In this 100th year of Canberra, the ACT Chief Minister’s Export Awards identifies and celebrates innovators in our exporting community and highlights their achievements in showcasing the ACT to the world.
The ACT has a dynamic and successful exporting community drawing from the ACT’s strong industry sector areas such as Education, ICT, Government Services, Defence and Security, Sports and Creative. The Export Awards program identifies outstanding ACT role models who energetically tell Canberra’s story to the world in ways that governments and brochures simply can’t. Many of the names of category winners are well known, names such as Aspen Medical, the Centre for Customs & Excise Studies, CEA Technologies, Inland Trading and Australian Scientific Instruments.
Exports are enormously important to our economy – they drive the creation of wealth, they advance innovation through the exchange of ideas, and they integrate Canberra into the global trade dynamic that will shape our future.
These Awards are open to all ACT and region exporters and I strongly encourage you to enter and use the process both as an opportunity to do a health check on your business and to capitalise on the profile the Awards offers to entrants.
The ACT Chief Minister’s Export Awards are managed and presented by the Canberra Business Council on the behalf of the ACT Government.
